We listen first, sketch the system before opening any tool, build only what the workflow needs, and stay with it. No surprise scope, no abandoned hand-off, no unnecessary jargon.
Every engagement starts with a working session. We want to hear, in your words, where the time is going. We want to know what's repeating, what breaks, what gets dropped, what wakes you up at 3 a.m. We don't lead with tools or terminology; we lead with the workflow as it actually exists today.
The $500 initial assessment is the simplest way in: 30 minutes, refundable per the terms shown at booking, designed to find out whether we're a good fit before anyone signs anything.
Each Discover session produces a one-page Time Refund Plan: your description of the problem or problems in our words, plus a yes/no on whether we think it's a good automation or custom application target, and how much time we think it will save you per week.
Before any tool gets opened, we sketch the workflow on paper. Triggers, branches, edge cases, what happens when something fails, who gets notified. You see the system end-to-end before anyone starts building it.
When the planning phase glosses over the unusual situations, those gaps end up baked into the final build. We'd rather spend an extra hour upfront mapping things out carefully than have you lose a week down the road debugging a workflow that can't handle the real situations your business deals with every day.
Once you sign off on the map, we build only what the map describes. Without any scope creep, and never any surprise add-ons.
Implementation in whichever toolchain fits your situation. We'll never lock you into one platform; obviously, different problems need different tools to solve them, and the right answer is sometimes the cheapest off-the-shelf option, and sometimes it is a simple custom web app.
We build, we test against your real data (with you watching), we document. The intention is that nothing about the system is a mystery to you. We believe you should be able to look at the workflow and understand what it's doing without us in the room.
Tools get updated. Unexpected situations come up. Your business grows and changes.
We stick around. If you're not seeing the time savings we promised, we keep working at it until you do. We don't set things up and disappear.
Engagements include 30 days of free iteration after launch, after which ongoing support is available as a monthly retainer (more comprehensive) or an hourly rate per incident. Maintenance pricing is set individually with each customer, based on how much ongoing support you need. All support is U.S. based, and never outsourced.
If the system isn't actually saving you time, we haven't done our job yet.
